Giving yourself permission to not be okay can be one of the most courageous acts of self-compassion.

Kristina is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor and Certified Anger Management specialist, with over 15 years of experience in trauma-focused treatment and 9 years teaching in higher education. She earned her Master’s in Counseling from Lewis University and is currently pursuing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Governors State University.

Kristina has a deep passion for working with first responders and their families, supporting them through the unique stressors that come with their roles. Her practice integrates trauma-informed modalities including Polyvagal Theory, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients heal from within.

She provides a safe and grounded space to explore and overcome anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, and trauma. Kristina also works with blended families and mothers balancing multiple roles, helping each client reconnect with their authentic self and build lasting emotional resilience.
