Kayla Tilkes is a Masters Level Clinical Intern at Begin Within. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Psychology from Loras College. She is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Governor’s State University.

Kayla works with clients of all ages starting with children of 6 years old to older adults struggling with a variety of reasons such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief/loss, stress, social behaviors, and self-esteem/self-worth. She strives to create a safe and non-judgmental environment to build a strong therapeutic alliance and help each client feel empowered. Her primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as uses a variety of different approaches and interventions to help growth and healing.

Kayla is currently accepting new clients at the Mount Greenwood location or via telehealth.
