Kelly Prendergast, MA, LCPC

My name is Kelly Prendergast and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I currently work with adults looking to work through struggles relating to anxiety, OCD, depression, relationships, family dynamics, co-dependency, self-esteem, and trauma. In therapy, I utilize a wide variety of approaches including trauma informed, ERP informed, attachment focused, polyvagal, and IFS informed.  I have completed LGBTQ+ Clients: Queer Affirmative Strategies to Address Sexual and Gender Identity training.

My passion is to help others feel empowered and confident in creating their own change in their lives. My goal in therapy is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space in which the individual feels safe to be vulnerable and gain healthy coping skills to promote healing and growth. Seeking counseling can be scary and overwhelming and this courageous first step you made is a step that will allow you to heal and grow in ways that you never thought possible.

I work in the Mt Greenwood location seeing clients in person Monday-Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and via telehealth on Fridays from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. I can be reached at kelly@beginwithinchicago.com or 312-292-9672.
